Kumbakkarai Falls are lesser-known falls in the foothills of the Water originates in Kodaikanal Hills and flows along the rocks and eventually reaches the hills of the foot. The place is known as Kumbakarai. The travelers are coming here to take a bath in the Hills falls. There are two stages to these falls. At the first level, water gathers in huge rock recesses each named after wild animals like tiger, Elephant, etc. The river Pambar then flows to the second stage for 0.5 km (0.31 mi) before falling as the main waterfall.
